Ms Anna Carl
BSC (HONS) PSYCH, MCLINPSYCH
Anna Carl is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with further training in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders and PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). She is recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Board-approved Supervisor and holds Conjoint Lecturer (UNSW) and Adjunct Fellow (Macquarie University) appointments.
Anna completed her university training in Germany and Sydney and has worked in both private and public mental health care settings. She is experienced providing individual and group therapy for young adults, adults and older adults, as well as providing clinical supervision to psychologists.
With a focus on empowering clients to learn skills to manage their mental health, Anna draws on CBT (cognitive-behavioural therapy), DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy) and schema therapy as her main therapeutic approaches.
Anna is dedicated to delivering evidence-based interventions while engaging with clients in a warm and empathic manner.
