Please note our policy details and fees may change from time to time in response to service development and the rising costs of administration. These changes will allow the service to remain sustainable. Please refer back to this website to remain fully up to date and informed.

Fee Policy

Payment of Fees - Payment for an initial consultation and all telehealth appointments require pre-payment. Prepayment is made via our secure online credit card facility. Payment for face-to-face review appointments is required at the time of service. A surcharge of 1.5% applies to all credit card payments.

Bulk Billing Services Clinicians do not offer any bulk-billing services. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please discuss options with your GP.

Administration - Administrative work, outside of an appointment, including completion of reports, medical certificates or applications, will incur a fee. Administrative work is done on a prepaid basis.

GP referrals must be renewed every 12 months, whilst a referral from a medical specialist must be renewed every 3 months. It is the patient’s responsibility to keep track of their Medicare claiming and ensure that their referral remains valid across time.

Medicare Rebate Policy

To see a Psychiatrist patients must have a GP referral in order to be eligible for a Medicare rebate. If a patient is returning for a follow up appointment after a one year lapse since their initial visit, they must bring a new GP referral letter.

To see a Clinical Psychologist in order to be eligible for a Medicare rebate, patients must bring a GP referral and a Mental Health Care Plan for their initial appointment. Patients can generally claim a Medicare rebate for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year if they take up a mental health care plan through their GP.

Appointment Confirmation - SMS reminders are sent approximately 3 days prior to appointments. To secure your appointment please reply to the SMS with ‘Y’ as soon as possible. Unconfirmed appointments will be cancelled.

Appointment & Cancellation Policy

Appointment Arrival - Please arrive on time for your appointment to avoid reduced time with your Clinician. A late arrival will result in shortened time.

Cancellations - If you fail to cancel within 24 hours, or do not attend your appointment, the full fee for the appointment will be charged (Medicare rebates do not apply) unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Late Arrival - If a patient arrives more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate the appointment due to time constraints. In such cases, the appointment will be considered a “no-show,” and the associated fee will be charged.

Follow-up Appointments - It is the patient’s responsibility to schedule a follow-up appointment well in advance to avoid lack of availability with the Clinician’s schedule.

Please note we do not see patients for workers compensation, insurance or medicolegal reports.

Doctor Communication Policy

Medical Correspondence Clinicians do not conduct medical correspondence via email. If you email us with any medical questions, you will be asked to book an appointment to speak with your Clinician directly.

You must have a telehealth appointment booked to be able to speak on the phone with your Clinician. We can pass a message on if you do not have an appointment booked, and will do our best to get back to you in a timely manner

Prescription Renewal - Please request prescriptions during your appointment time. If you ask for a prescription renewal and have not seen your doctor in the last 3 months, as per the NSW health Guidelines, you will be asked to book an appointment to request this from your doctor directly. Alternatively, you may choose to ask your GP for a script renewal.
